Overview
AcademiaAI is an AI-powered learning management system designed to turn curriculum material into complete, structured learning experiences. Instructors can upload a syllabus, curriculum document, PDF, or raw text and use AI to generate an entire course structure containing modules, lessons, theory, examples, guided practice, exercises, quizzes, assignments, reflection questions, and external learning resources. The instructor workspace provides tools for editing and organizing generated courses, managing students, reviewing submissions, grading assignments against rubrics, monitoring learning analytics, and configuring badges and grading settings. Students get a dedicated learning experience with course enrollment, lesson progression, quizzes, assignments, XP, streaks, skill progression, badges, and a centralized dashboard for tracking their academic progress. The system uses a two-stage AI generation pipeline that first builds the course structure and then generates detailed lesson content. It also includes a fallback Gemini integration to keep course generation functional when the primary AI credits are exhausted. AcademiaAI was built around a real instructional workflow, making it more than a UI experiment. It is a practical attempt to reduce the time and effort required to turn curriculum material into usable learning content.
